Spell It Out (Leisure Arts #4823) ReviewI agree with the previous poster that this book is wonderful. There are full color photos of SOME of the letters of each alphabet (not all), but since the charts are in color (as are all Leisure Arts cross stitch charts), you can get a very good idea of what all the letters will look like by just looking at the charts. There are some fractional stitches. There are a couple of pages at the end with pointers on spacing and other techniques for using the charts.
The previous poster said that this book is geared towards projects for children, and that is certainly true of the dogs, cats, teddy bears, pirates and fairies. But the Christmas, Gardener's and Harvest alphabets can certainly be used for more adult projects. For example, a "Welcome" sign using the Christmas alphabet, or "Give Thanks" with the Harvest alphabet.
