Llewellyn's 2007 Witches' Spell-A-Day Almanac (Annuals - Witches' Spell-a-Day Almanac) ReviewI got this on a whim. I did not expect much to be sure, but I think I expected more. At the beginning of every day, there is a colour of the day and an incense of the day. Then a little spell or affirmation for every day and for certain days also a bit of historical "trivia". I have read ahead a few days because I wanted to see if I needed to pick up any supplies, etc. And was so disappointed. Most days have affirmations and sort of "healthy emotional" living tips rather than spells. Those days with spells have such basic spells that it is almost silly to waste your time. Worse, as every day has an incense (and they never explain why that day has that incense) the spells that involve incense almost never include the daily incense, making you think really hard about why that spell on that day. Further more, the bits of historical trivia I got to included information on recognized Catholic Saints, hardly the sort of thing a pagan looks for in a spell book.
