Troll's Tale, The Hunt for Thistle Wick's Spell Book ReviewThe concept for the book is good.
However, there are MANY instances in this book where the wrong word is used. (Though, instead of thought is just ONE example.)
The errors made were so frequent that it took me a long time to get through this book - partly because I was trying to replace the wrong word with the correct word, and partly because I would put the story down and not feel inclined to read through more of it.
The story starts with the twins and later starts to flip flop to other characters. The twins did not stay true to their characters, in my opinion. Suddenly shown their true heritage and barely question anything and BAM on a road trip/quest to find a lost student? Tagging along just because?
I felt the story concept was ruined with poor story telling. That with the grammatical errors and use of incorrect words, I was appalled that I had spent 5$ on this book! This is the first book I wish I could return for a full refund - this was NOT worth the money.
Maybe after some editing and repair to the story, but until then, I would wait on this story!
