Excellent book for those new to the craft. It gives light to the beginnings of modern day witchcraft. This book is intended only for those who are seriously considering becoming a Witch and I really wish more non-pagans and non-wiccans would read this book. It has a ton of information. I'd recommend it as a first book to anyone interested in pursuing witchcraft and wicca as a faith (or indeed to anyone seeking an understanding of the craft), because it doesn't fill the readers head with notions that witchcraft is all about sticking pins in things and messing around with magick. I believe it will be one of the main factors which will render the Craft open to any who choose to follow the path.
