Spells (The Ultimate Full-Color Guide series) ReviewFinally! A book of spells that really ARE simple! I found this in a used book store and went online to see what others thought of it and discovered no one had reviewed it! So, here goes. I am new to magik, and am slowly acquiring books about witchcraft and earth based religions. I wanted to find a book with simple instructions and uncomplicated rituals so I could get started right away. This is it.
This book has only one section: spells. It assumes you know how to find and use the needed supplies. If you have opened any other beginning magic book, you will be informed enough, I think. I'm talking about dressing candles and lighting incense here. There are over one hundred spells here. Everything from improving your self-confidence to healing your cat. I haven't tried any yet, but they look straight-forward and uncomplicated. Also, there are only a few steps needed for most spells. Mostly things like timing, candle colors and incense recommendations, plus an incantation or instructions for you to follow like writing something down and burying the paper.
Because the author follows the wiccan rule of harming none, none of the spells are malicious in any way. I would definitely recommend this book for a beginner who does not have a teacher and feels overwhelmed by complex rituals.Spells (The Ultimate Full-Color Guide series) Overview
