How Do You Spell G-E-E-K ReviewThis book was fairly engaging, and I cared about the main character and the issues she was grappling with: her parents' recent divorce and the fact that her mom doesn't seem to have time for her; being asked to mentor a new and highly uncool student at her middle school, and the repercussions on her social status; and her best friend's jealousy of her developing friendship with that new student. But that said, younger students (such as the third graders I teach) won't be able to relate to those issues. Although this book isn't a challenging read, it's really for 5th grade (at a minimum - more likely 6th grade) and up.How Do You Spell G-E-E-K Overview
