Planetary Spells & Rituals: Practicing Dark & Light Magick Aligned with the Cosmic Bodies ReviewSo many spell books are based on the Moon or the Sun (if astrology is mentioned at all), but I cannot think of one that addresses all of the planets! I also like the deep healing work many of these spells encourage - not just an "attract love and money" work! While this is not an astrology book, it could be a good primer for ways to actually experience the energies of the chosen planets directly, which is an imperative first step to really understanding astrology. In fact, this work may inspire readers to deepen and continue astrological studies, and to begin reading charts! While there are many resources to begin (my favorite being Kevin Burk's "Astrology - Understanding the Birth Chart"), this is a great recommendation for those who may not be ready to bite off and chew the complications of learning astrology - but to still be able to access and utilize the planetary energies and cycles to the highest benefit!
