Gem is the family matriarch and she takes her duties towards her sisters and their inn quite seriously. Her attraction to Hyna isn't surprising as she is used to mothering and Hyna initially presents as someone in need of direction. However, Hyna is clearly all Alpha male as readers will soon see. The clash between two such dominant personalities is inevitable... and quite intriguing against the futuristic backdrop of WHEN SPARKS FLY.
Autumn Dawn writes romances with a lot of heart-tugging emotions in them. As the story unfolds, the dilemma Hyna faces is by no means an easy one. Conversely, Gem's anger is also completely understandable. Both characters are so dedicated and honest that it's heartbreaking to see the troubles they must face. Hyna and Gem are two characters that deserve their happily-ever-after and Autumn Dawn more than delivers! Easily recommended!
