The Enchanted Formulary: Blending Magickal Oils for Love, Prosperity, and Healing ReviewIf you are looking for lots of magickal oil formulas, in this book you can find recipes for every occasion, and you can have endless fun mixing the oils.On the other hand, most of the recipes in this book ask for fruit or flower oils which may be only available in synthetic form. If you like to mix only natural oils, you may have to do more experimenting with natural oils to bring out similar scents.
Some formulas in this book are very different from traditional recipes - for example Van Van, which traditionally contains Lemongrass and several other grass oils, in this book is changed to vanilla, rose and almond - which doesn't come even close to the traditional Van Van oil.
And while the more you know about oils, herbs and scents, the more will you know what and when to substitute, many times your nose may guide you - so if you are concocting oil for love, if it smells like love to you, it may be just good enough for your purpose, or if you are creating a money oil, and it smells like money to you, it may just work all the magic you need it to do for you.
