Sing, Spell, Read and Write : Grand Tour Level 2 (Home Kit) ReviewI used the first edition level 2 SSRW with 3 children in the past. I was pleased with their progress and the way the program was laid out. I was hesitant to use the "new" edition but I'm glad that we did. Covering the same basics as the original, the new SSRW has a lot more interaction built into each lesson. It is exciting for my daughter with the crosswords, puzzles, reading, spelling workout worksheets and story leads for creating her own stories. It builds in comprehension and vocabulary as it goes. It reviews all of the 1st grade skills while working in compound words, verb/noun usage, capitalization, punctuation, subject, predicate, etc. We are still in Book 1 of the set.
