A Wintertide Spell ReviewForesta's Queen Geneva is on the hunt for her erring husband. It seems her kingly husband has been cursed to love 13 women before he's 50. The Queen is pregnant for the third time and hoping for a boy, in spite of being cursed with only female children. I can't say too much more without spoiling the story, but Ms. Wallace's story is delightful and charming, if you don't mind a realistic description of childbirth.A Wintertide Spell OverviewIf the King is fated to love thirteen women before he turns fifty, is he still husband material? One cold, snowy Wintertide Eve, Queen Geneva of Foresta tracks her straying spouse in an attempt to discover where exactly he goes at night. Has he met his next great love already? Will he put her and their three children aside? As Geneva labors over the solution to her husband's curse, King Reginald is attempting to discover a solution for a problem of his own--and for the entire Middle Kingdoms. This 7500 word short story is a stand-alone prequel to A Spell for Susannah.Want to learn more information about A Wintertide Spell?
