The Old Girls' Book of Dreams: How to Make Your Wishes Come True Day by Day and Night by Night ReviewThe Old Girls'Book of Dreams was given to me by a friend of mine who's into Wicca. You can tell the author isn't one of those witches who plays at it. I got the feeling her whole life is about magic because when you read this you will see that there is magic in everything. Take the time to read the introduction closely. I found that the heart meditation she talks about is pretty incredible and the instructions for it are there. The rest of what she has to say about weaving your dreams and remaining tuned to the rhythm of the natural world is told with a fresh, honest perspective on it all. This is not one of those books that just rehashes the run of the mill affirmation stuff. If you're into astrology you'll get a fresh breeze blown up your skirt too. What the author has to say about the signs of the zodiac is woven into everything she has to say about witchcraft. I would recommend this book to anyone, whether they're into magic or not. And any age too. I'm buying a bunch of them to give away because it's THAT good. Besides, there's room to journal and plenty of space to sort out your own thoughts about things. The Old Girls' Book of Dreams is full of fresh wisdom. It shines a big light on the creation process and the whole experience of being a WOMAN!The Old Girls' Book of Dreams: How to Make Your Wishes Come True Day by Day and Night by Night Overview

The Witch's Dream: A Healer's Way of Knowledge (Compass) ReviewI can't leave this marvelous book with a couple of limited reviews here at Amazon, even though it's been ten years since I last read it. Donner's story is simply a great human story; it's really about becoming more human. It's about the simple necessities in life, about the choices we are forced to make when choices are most limited, and about the life we find through that "cubic centimeter of chance." It gets outside -- thank God! -- the crime and punishment limited mentality of America....and of course that is why such a book will bore some readers and frighten others. The Witch's Dream: A Healer's Way of Knowledge (Compass) Overview

Dream Magic: Night Spells and Rituals for Love, Prosperity and Personal Power ReviewFrom time to time, we have all wished that at least one of our dreams could come true. Dream Magic is for those wanting to go beyond the wishing stage. It is for those who believe they can make it happen.
This is an awesome collection of spells and rituals, meant to be performed around bedtime, in order to stimulate dreams that guide the dreamer on the path towards cherished goals or desires. The dreamer consciously attempts to steer dreams toward a goal or purpose, then takes the information gleaned in the night, and applies it towards acheiving a goal in their waking world.
Sirona Knight, co-author and creator of the imaginative Shapeshifter Tarot, has assembled over 100 rituals of varying difficulty, to assist readers in empowering their dreams. The chapters subdivide dream spells by subject: Love Dream Magic, Money & Success Dream Magic, Self-Empowerment Dream Magic, and Health, Beauty and Wellness Dream Magic.
The Practical Dream Magic chapter covers some unique areas, such as a "You've Got Mail-Cyber Ritual" (designed to bring you great e-mail and less spam), a "Pet Protection Moon Spell", several vacation dream spells, and one to help problem-solve through your dreams. The Divine Dreams chapter covers psychic/prophetic dreaming, dreaming your power animal, time travel and more.
Each individual working features a general description or purpose, magical/astrological timing for the exercise, a list of items needed, and tells how to perform the spell. They are creatively crafted, including many evocative invocations by Knight to set the mood right.
She provides appropriate background to the art of dream magic, explains how to create a dream altar, summon dream guardians, and describes the basic components needed to perform dream magic rites. She includes a list of helpful dream deities and a bibliography at the back of the book.
Although the book is very accessible to beginners in magic and spellwork, I suggest beginners get some general background first on magic and spellcrafting. This is an excellent resource for those daring to believe that they can make their dreams a reality.Dream Magic: Night Spells and Rituals for Love, Prosperity and Personal Power Overview

THE DREAM SPELL ReviewEmma Daniels knows how to add surprise to her books and does a very good job with this one. What a great imagination this author has. In Dream Spell two people have a dream of a hot, romantic, lustful encounter and when they meet in person neither one admits to the dream. Eventually, Sophie finds out she is pregnant and could only have gotten that way in her dream. What! No WAY! Yes. WOW! Great job. But as the story continues she comes to realize that the handsome blonde stranger of her dreams is not only real but also dreaming of her. A fun twist to a paranormal, fantasy, romance. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has even the slightest imagination.THE DREAM SPELL Overview
