Fear of Rain ReviewHaving grown up in Johnstown it was very cool to read a tale filled with places I recognized and have visited dozens of times. Robert Jeschonek weaves a fantastic tale around the three great floods that actually tore through Johnstown, starting in 1889 up through 1977. The antagonist is eerie but his old-fashioned morals make him sort of likeable and you can understand his motive. The young protagonist is the polar opposite, young, fresh and hip but every bit as clever and creative as her elder. Mr. Jeschonek crams alot of story into a short tale.
