Jayden is a a druid killer. he falls in love with a human girl and then all heck breaks loose. His twin brother is involved and I got thrown for loop after loop, surprises on every single chapter. It was worth more then 99cents. Magical Memories (Wyrrd Witches) ReviewAfter reading Sebatian, Ali, Sarena and Dagon's stories, I guess I was looking for a little bit more depth in dealing with Tempest and Michael's story. This was a nice love story, but there was nothing exciting or no real plot to speak of. It was great seeing the other characters and having them interact with Tempest and Michael (watching Sarena and Ali pregnant was very funny and added some great wit to the story) but that was the highlight to me. Once you learned the premise of the story, (within the first 30 pages of the book), nothing really happens. We see over and over again Tempest's doubts about Michael, but we are supposed to see her love for him too. If love is the ultimate, end all, apex, zenith, etc, etc, etc, then there should have been no doubt in Tempest's mind about the outcome of her spell. It seemed to me, the only thing her doubts could have produced was to make Michael doubt himself and the choices he must make. Actually, that is what I thought the moral of the story should have been, that it was Tempest's doubts that had to be overcome, not Michael's "dark side".
I felt much more empathy with Michael and liked the way his character was written better than Tempest. I only wish there was a little more internal conflict shown. Because I do not want to give away the little plot that there was, I will not elaborate, but to say that I did not feel like there was ANY internal struggle. It seemed to me that Michael figured everything out pretty early on.
I did enjoy being sucked into the scenes, as if I was there in the room with our characters. Ms. Fletches does a great job accomplishing this and on that level of writing, she succeeds wonderfully and made the book worth finishing (to me). If you have read the preceding books, then I would pick this one up, though I did not like it as much as the other two.Magical Memories (Wyrrd Witches) OverviewTempest is driving home in a blinding snowstorm when she hits a lone man walking along the road in the Scottish Highlands. He doesn't know how he got there and stranger still is the odd symbols that cover part of the wall in the bedroom. Something certainly isn't right and he intends to find out just what it is.Tempest is the Ancient One' a witch of immense powers who is much sought after for her wisdom. Many years ago she had fallen in love with a warlock and though she had seen a spark of light in him it never materialized and so she had no choice but to lock him away in a spell to return at a future date.The question' is Michael the warlock she once loved and if he is what will happen when he recalls the past and his powers return? Will evil or love triumph? Book three of the Wyrrd Witch series

The Witches of Dixie: Book One (The Witchery Series) ReviewThis book was OK. I enjoyed it, but it doesn't get better than that, for me, even though I would have really wanted to report that I loved it.
The stories would have come to me better if they had been presented in sequence, as an anthology of four independent stories with a common theme. The hopping from one to another and back again was rather distracting.
I liked the spells, and the effects that they had on the lives of the four witches.
Because the author is Laura Satmps, I was expecting much more sex, but maybe that is my fault for setting my own expectations incorrectly.

More book space is spent on the romance than on the mission this time around. You should not begin this story expecting a fast paced adventure. This reads more as a mystery than suspense. But do not worry, there is danger, as well as the surprise or two which the author, Karen Wiesner, is fast becoming known for. Excellent! ****

Destiny Bay (Love Spell Romantic Suspense) ReviewThis book was recommended to me by a friend, and I simply loved it. The writing is polished, poetic, and I often found myself pausing to reread passages that bordered on brilliant. A pleasant surprise in a romatic suspense!
The story centers around Abbey, a woman determined to solve the mystery that she believes led to her mother's untimely death. Her quest leads her to a fantastically quirky little island off the coast of Maine, peopled by an imaginative and engaging cast of characters.
Most notable among them is Luke Brannigan, a handsome local who takes an instant dislike to Abbey, and who Abbey, of course, is destined to fall in love with. While this was somewhat predictable, the history that devides them and which they must overcome is fascinating and seems, at times, insurmountable.
Together, they unravel the intricate mystery that surrounds her mother's short and legendary stay on the island, finally coming face to face with the disturbing antagonist who calls himself The Lover.
The mystery is well thought out and original, as it the way Abbey and Luke solve it. I truly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Entwined (Eternal Guardians (Love Spell)) ReviewI was sucked in from the first paragraph, and read this in one sitting. Zander is exactly what I love in a hero. Uber Alpha, but with a vulnerability. He believes himself to be immortal, yet is tired of life. To avoid spoilers, I will only say he pledges himself to a responsibility none of his fellow Argonauts are willing to take on, which gives him a sense of purpose he has been lacking. Enter the conflict in the form of his soul mate, Callia.
Callia and Zander have terrific chemistry from word one. Their angst filled relationship is funny and heartbreaking. Ms Naughton conveys their longing for each other and their belief that nothing can ever come of it in a convincing way. My heart hurt for both of them. They each take their respective responsibilities very seriously, to the detriment of ever being together. You have to admire their willingness to do the right thing, for the right reasons.
I liked Entwined even more than I did Marked, which I liked a lot. Callia and Zander just zinged off the pages and touched me in ways Theron and Casey did not. The secondary characters in both books are intriguing, and I can't wait to see how the story plays out. Ms. Naughton has created a fascinating world. I have been a fan of hers since the first "Stolen" book, all of which are outstanding. I will wait anxiously for the next Eternal Guardians book!Entwined (Eternal Guardians (Love Spell)) Overview

Seduction's Spell ReviewIsabella `Belle' Patricelli owns Belle On The Bend, a wonderful retreat located in North Texas. People who go there have a tendency to realize that many of the problems they see in their own lives are not as insurmountable as they seemed before. Seduction's Spell is an enchanting novel. I put up my feet, enjoyed a cup of tea and indulged myself with Seduction's Spell. Ms. LaFleur takes characters from all walks of life and blends them together like a well-oiled machine. Seduction's Spell is actually more of four stories combined than a single story. All of which draw the reader in. I liked and pulled for all the characters with their realistic faults and dreams being brought out for review.
